We could not have been more delighted to be asked by our friends Dana Dunphy and Chelle Smith, the very talented duo behind revel&bloom, to do flowers for a shoot at one of our favorite locations--Spruce Mountain Ranch. They had titled the story First Love's Kiss and modeled it around a couple who'd grown up together since childhood and had grown into lovers. The winter shoot was captured by the lovely Sarah Roshan and featured on one of our favorite blogs, 100 Layer Cake!
The palette was one of snowy whites, rich navy blues and silvers, and the concept featured a Victorian vintage aesthetic.

This bouquet featured a number of really neat touches. A few bird's nests gave the bouquet incredible texture, as did eucalyptus pods and rich navy viburnum berries. And tucked in to the bouquet was a sweet vintage-inspired lock, into which fit the skeleton bouquet we tucked into the groom's boutonniere.

The farmhouse table featured a beautiful grey planter box filled with a lush, textural mix of hydrangea, dusty miller, silver tree, eucalyptus pods, viburnum berries and other gorgeous elements. The grey box was finished in a navy wrap that featured the blue cameo brooch also seen on the bride's bouquet.
