When we sat down in Beaver Creek last winter with Meredith & Greg, we knew there was an instant connection. We just…got each other! Designing for clients like that is a dream come true for us–the synergy is so exciting and inspiring! Meredith had a fabulous vision that melded the modern sculptural elegance of antlers‰—perfect for a Colorado mountain wedding at the incredibly gorgeous Saddle Ridge‰ with a layered and gathered vintage vibe of bottles, jars, wood boxes and crates. She loved rich, yummy textures and wanted to weave her gorgeous watercolor palette of blues, lavenders and greens throughout the flowers, so we went with hydrangea, ranunculus, eryngium, scabiosa, veronica, dahlia, Queen Anne‰’s lace, olive branch, lavender, roses and spray roses, lisianthus, dusty miller, cornflower, flowering artichoke, sola shell flowers, tillandsia, mint, scabiosa pods, delphinium, poppy pods, and drumstick allium. The result was a soft and beautiful tapestry of textures and colors that really reflected their modern mountain aesthetic. One of our favorite elements was all the lavender Meredith wanted–particularly the lavender wreaths running down Saddle Ridge’s beautiful staircase! And of course we can’t forget the incredibly sweet family mementos Meredith asked us to tuck into her bouquet–we loved how those brought her parents to tears! We got to have a pretty special conversation about those mementos with her parents a few days after the wedding, and what they had to say about love and life and family was one of the highlights of our summer, so we thank them tremendously for that!

This wedding was a dream team of vendors, including the lovely Jessica McTaggart of Pink Champagne Events, the wildly talented Rachael Teufel of Intricate Icings, and of course the INSANELY gifted Laura Murray of Laura Murray Photography! We were so delighted to see this beautiful wedding published on one of the UK’s most beautiful wedding blogs, Wedding Sparrow! We could not be more thrilled for these two and wish them every happiness!
